What does Sheer Edge LOVE about the RAF Midlands?
The versatile meeting spaces – you can choose the open plan Hangar which seats up to 400 delegates theatre style, the purpose-built conference room accommodating up to 130 delegates or the National Cold War Auditorium in a ‘bunker style’ with tiered seating for up to 208 people.
Flexible options – you can have your meeting in the Second World War Hangar, then have your lunch in say the Cold War Exhibition space or choose to break out into a different section of the Hangar and explore the aircrafts on display.
Historic links – The pure history that this museum offers, dining under the wings of Comet and Varsity, Drinks reception with Lincoln and Mosquito, networking beneath the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant – there is no other place quite like this.
Take a step back in time and visit the exhibitions with RAF stories from 1918-2018.
The other thing we loved, there is a snug area just off from the main hangar where you can view the live runway, as RAF Midlands is still a working site and also home to West Midlands Air Ambulance.
