FAQ’s

CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS ONLY FOR AN EVENT?

Sheer Edge Hospitality & Events is predominantly a Hospitality and Events business but on occasions, we may be able to offer you a ticket only option, this could be subject to a booking/admin fee but we will advise you of this at the point of sale.

IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS I NEED TO BOOK FOR?

There are no minimum guest numbers for an event, although we would recommend 2 guests at any one time and for smaller numbers, we cannot always guarantee you won’t be on a shared table of 10. Regarding larger numbers, this, of course, depends on availability, should you require a private suite there is usually a minimum number you need to secure for this.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE TICKETS/HOSPITALITY PASSES FOR THE EVENT?

Usually, we will send out tickets and passes approximately 2 weeks before the start of an event. However, in some cases the actual tickets will be distributed at the events, so will be ready for you to collect on the day, this is sometimes due to value and problems with security.

IS THE PACKAGE PRICE PER PERSON OR PER TABLE?

All hospitality packages are advertised on a per person basis + Vat. However, sometimes the price is sometimes displayed per Suite. For example, if you were looking for room hire for a VIP Dinner or an Executive box at a Stadium.

IS CAR PARKING INCLUDED?

Car parking is usually included with many hospitality packages. However, it very much depends on the venue and the specific parking availability there, some are restrictive by party numbers.

WHAT IF I AM LOOKING FOR HOSPITALITY AT AN EVENT YOU AREN’T CURRENTLY ADVERTISING?

Sheer Edge Hospitality & Events will always aim to secure hospitality at most sporting events, so please let us know what event you have in mind, we will always strive to secure the hospitality for you.

COULD YOU ORGANISE HOSPITALITY FOR A BESPOKE EVENT?

Absolutely, we can source and put together any bespoke events that our clients request. These events can vary from a team building track day to, concerts, theatre or even film premieres.

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN BRANDING, THEMING OR PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL?

Usually, this would not be a problem especially if you have secured a private area, however, every event varies and so it is best to discuss your requirements and we can confidently discuss what promotional options are possible on a case by case basis.

CAN YOU PROVIDE HOSPITALITY TO ANY INTERNATIONAL EVENTS?

CAN I ALTER MY BOOKING AT A LATER DATE?

As mentioned in our Terms and Conditions, your booking can be altered. We will always do our best to make the changes you request but they can often be subject to availability. Depending on how close it is to the event this may also be subject to an administration charge. Speak to our team today to discuss what changes you need to make and we will always aim to get them processed for you without any additional cost, however, sometimes it can be unavoidable.

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS OR SERVICE CHARGES?

There are no hidden costs – you will pay in most cases the same as going directly via the venue. Therefore, the price shown is the price to be paid, any booking fees or administration charges will be communicated up front. Although, for all events, should you require any additional touches i.e. additional parking, fresh flowers that are not included in the hospitality package, these items would be charged in addition to the hospitality package purchase. However, the price of the additional charges would all be communicated at the time the request is made and included in all invoicing, so there are no hidden costs.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ARRANGE SPECIAL CATERING REQUIREMENTS FOR MY GUESTS?

Of course, our team will be in touch to understand your guests catering requirements and will communicate this directly with the venue so that your needs are provided for.

HOW CAN I MAKE PAYMENT? CAN I PAY BY AMEX OR CHEQUE?

There are a few methods of payment. All major credit cards are accepted as well as cheques and transfers. However, unfortunately, we do not accept Amex.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

The dress code can differ slightly for each individual event, we will advise for each occasion what is required at each venue. Although the general rule is typically smart casual with no sportswear.

ARE ALL BEVERAGES INCLUDED IN YOUR HOSPITALITY PACKAGES?

The majority of packages will generally include both soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. However, the contents of each package differ from each event so please contact us for more details.

CAN I MAKE A PROVISIONAL BOOKING?

Yes, we can provisionally hold hospitality packages on a short-term basis, we would just require a signed booking form as proof of interest.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK?

We would always recommend booking as far in advance as you can, purely from an availability perspective. Please give us a call to check availability as it does change all the time.

HOW CAN I CANCEL A BOOKING?

Once you have completed the booking form and submitted payment details, you have 48 hours in which to cancel the Booked Event, during which time no cost will be incurred by you. Thereafter you will incur the cancellation costs as set out in Clause 7 of these Terms and Conditions. Any cancellation must be confirmed in writing to Sheer Edge Ltd. The 48 hour cancellation period shall not apply if the booking is made within 1 month of the first day of the Booked Event, any cancellation made in this situation shall be subject to the cancellation costs as set out in clause 7 of these Terms and Conditions.
