The things Sheer Edge love about this venue…Coombe-Abbey-_BoardMeeting

  • They have 11 versatile meeting spaces all with stunning views across the moat, courtyard and gardens, just pure luxury wrapped in history. The rooms haven’t been changed to make them what you would expect – a modern meeting room, they all still have original features of their own wood panelled walls, chandeliers, pictures, wooden beams, plus much much more you will be excited to see. The largest function space is the Marquee this is an addition to the building and although not historic it still provides plenty of space for up to 450 people, you will still feel part of the Abbey in this large open space. The Garden room is simply breath-taking, warm lighting, beautiful furnishing and décor, the staff are attentive and welcoming, you will certainly have a memorable time.
  • Experiences! We absolutely love a venue that can provide more than just meeting rooms, some of our clients look for team building ideas, or something they can add on to or during their meeting or event. A host of activities can be arranged such as Archery, Axe Throwing, Treasure Hunts, Falconry & Mediaeval Pageants. Why not try a Mediaeval Banquet, you may even fancy a Murder Mystery or another themed event filled with delicious food, live entertainment, laughter and fun.
  • An impressive 119 ‘bedchambers’ these warm welcoming rooms will leave you relaxed and wanting to stay another night. Some feature four poster beds and Victorian bath tubs, you will get a beautiful view from every room here you will not be disappointed to be waking up looking out at the gardens or historic courtyard.
