Festive event ‘top tips’ just for you!

We know how hard it can be planning for a large group so we have put together some suggestions to kick-off the party planning process…

Engagement and Interaction! Firstly, having engaging and interactive features within your event always help. This allows people to come together and make new friends and connections whilst having the opportunity to network with like-minded people.

Fun! Ensuring the event is fun is also another top priority, events can be effective and useful but your guests won’t be as likely to want to attend again if there isn’t elements of fun involved. Knowing your audience and what enjoy doing recreationally helps a lot to gage what type of activities to run.

Save the date! Sending out invitations in good time is also essential. Christmas is such a busy time of year for many people, and if you leave it too late to send out invites then it’s more likely that you won’t get as many people as you’d like turning up to your event, as most of your audience has already made plans to see friends or family, and you will have missed the boat…

Theming! Having a theme around Christmas time can help people get into the festive spirit. Decorations, fancy dress and entertainment all help people loosen up and have a good time.

Catering options! People don’t attend events just for the great food that you offer, but this too will impact their experience. How do you act when you are hungry? Are you still able to focus? Are you still interested in what somebody else has to say? When it comes to food not all guests have the same preferences, and although you can’t please them all you should have both normal and vegan options.

Have a plan! A schedule is essential so that you can stick to a solid plan and helps to keep the pace of the event under control. This helps ensure you’re not spending too much time on certain aspects of your event and prevents your guests from getting tired or bored due to timing mishaps.

Contact us today to chat through your event ideas, we would love to support you to make it a festive event to remember, for all the right reasons!
