With five days of thrilling action set against the magnificent backdrop of the rolling Sussex countryside, the Qatar Goodwood Festival – popularly known as ‘Glorious Goodwood’ – is one of the highlights of the flat-racing season.

Horseracing has been a part of Goodwood since 1802, when the 3rd Duke of Richmond introduced the sport as an amusement for local army officers Fast forward 200 years and Goodwood’s racing season now consists of 19 unique racedays, including this flagship event, the Qatar Goodwood Festival.
